Department of Metallurgy
The department of metallurgy is based on the production capacity of Alliance member Prestar. The following productions are the departments priority.
Production of technological lines for calibration of tubes, profiles, production of lifting mechanisms and special equipment.
We manufacture: self-locking jawsclamps with separate automation for handling with castings, electric and hydraulic telescopic jawsclamps for handling with coils and sheet bundles, telescopic and magnetic traverses, tilting and pivot benches for working with large workpieces and manipulators for containers with manual or hydraulic control.
Machines and integrated production lines, custom-designed and equipped with control systems for automated production.
Handling and lifting equipment may be used not only by manufacturers of rods and tubes, but also by manufacturers of metal sheets and sections.
Technology and equipment for manufacture of pipes and rods:
straightening machines, circular saws for cutting pipes with a diameter up to 150 mm, grinding machines,
both for interior and exterior surface, with a diameter up to 120 mm, automatic tube packaging devices,
conveyor systems for nondestructive testing equipment, automation of production lines etc.
KERMET Alliance delivers technology for steelworks and rolling mills, equipment for the manufacture of pipes, accessories and also manufactures lifting equipment. In cooperation with partners and members of the Alliance it supplies, produces and performs reconstructions of the following equipment:
